One of the main advantages of rubber boots is that your feet will always be clean and dry during rainy weather. , and care of them is not difficult. The only drawback of such shoes - boots must be cleaned immediately after use. Fortunately, this is easy to do. Your rubber boots will last much longer, without losing their attractiveness, if you follow simple rules for the care and storage of rubber shoes:
Wear rubber boots only in cloudy and rainy weather. Under the sunshine, the color of the boots grows dull, and the rubber begins to crack and coarse.
When returning from the street, be sure to wipe your boots with a sponge dipped in warm water. Wash outside and inside. Wash the insoles every time there is no need, just a couple of times a month.

With aging, light tires lose their color, and white becomes pinkish - if you notice this phenomenon, you should think about purchasing a new pair.
If a rubber boot misses the water, but you can’t find a defective place. Put the shoes in the water, after twisting the leg. The air remaining in the boot will come out, and you can easily determine the location of the defect by the outgoing air bubbles.
Self sizing:
Examine the leak. Pick up the patch. from the same rubber, putting it on rubber glue. Sand the patch with sandpaper, wipe it and the damaged area with gasoline, apply one layer of rubber glue to the damaged area and patch, and let the glue dry. Then apply the glue again, and when it dries, put the patch in place and gradually, from the middle to the edges, press down, trying to avoid air bubbles under it.

Always keep rubber boots out of direct sunlight.
When storing, put your shoes in a paper bag or box - this will prevent it from fading under the influence of light.
To keep the shape of your boots, put crumpled newspapers in your shoes.
It is necessary to wear rubber boots only with socks or fabric plug-in “boots” made of natural materials - wool, knitwear, cotton. Or use antibacterial insoles.
Remember that even natural rubber boots for more than 4 hours in a row should not be worn, because rubber does not let the air at all, as a result, legs like this sweat in such shoes and as a result create a very favorable environment for various pathogens and fungi.
